Copy a direct link to individual privacy notice

If you have published the Privacy notices (or any other) embed report from Cyberday, you can now also fetch the direct link to a selected notice from the admin side.

Navigate to the preview of the embed report and to the correct notice, to see a "Copy direct link" button hovering over the top right corner of the notice.

You can copy the link from here, add it at the end of the page URL where you have published your report, and give this link to e.g. a customer. The embed will be directly opened on the correct notice the customer is looking for.

"Featured content" better displayed on framework's page

Certain framework's in Cyberday include some important, even mandatory reports or documentation, which can sometimes be very specific to this framework.

Now the framework page lists this important content on the top right section, which we call "Featured content".

Unassigned-option available on all assignment components

In Cyberday, we try to encourage all items and responsibilities in information security to be clearly assigned for single main user.

Still, sometimes you make a miss-click or just need to revert on something. You will now find an "Unassigned" option an all assignment components.

Improvements to risk management views and optional "residual risk evaluation"

We streamlined the risk management table and added an optional "residual risk evaluation".

Enabling this on the setting will bring some additional fieds visible on the risk's documentation card and also add a "Residual risk" column to the table.

These are extensions to ISO 27001, so activating one of these will also activate the ISO 27001: Full -framework.

Advanced priority classification available for data assets

From the Settings page, you can now enable an advanced priority classicification for your organization's most important data assets (including data systems, datasets, databanks).

This feature classifies assets based on selected numeric values for confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation.

From these, their an individual priority value between 0-100 is calculated for each object. If this feature is enabled, the normal Priority value in the tables is replaced by the calculated value.

Adding multiple participants to documentation topic

Now you can add additional participants who're supporting the actual owner of a documentation topic. These can be e.g. other contributors filling the data or someone working as an "administrative" owner of an item - reviewing it to better achieve segregation of duties.

Better export capabilities on Data systems list

We developed the Excel-export to include all activated data fields in the table - including optional data.

In the future, we will continue the same development with other documentation lists so that it is as easy as possible to export the entire data packages to Excel.

Documentation cards display linked elements better

E.g. action process or data bank documentation cards now also display linked data systems, which are connected to these elements via data sets.

This will communicate to the data submitter that these connection are not created directly here, but will be created and displayed later. Likewise, this can help with later data utilization when connections are easier to detect from different views.

Multiple Cyberday accounts inside single 365 tenant

Organizations with large Microsoft 365 tenant setups, including e.g. multiple country organizations or many very separate business units, can now utilize Cyberday to full potential also.

Many Cyberday accounts can exist inside a single Teams tenant and e.g. employee or new users requesting for access will be asked to select the correct sub-organization they belong to.

Small improvements / fixes 11/2021

Our team focused for a while on making small improvements and fixes related to the user experience of the app. The following is a list of improved points:

  • Additional options when inviting a new user (send invitation now, external user, another Teams domain)
  • Mobile access in certain views. We don't invest heavily in mobile because our users rarely use Cyberday mainly from mobile devices, but we want to make sure that all things in Cyberday do work also with smaller browsers.
  • Optional columns in table views enabled
  • Better navigation between reports and related tasks / documentation cards
  • Improved reliability of documentation cards
  • Better reactivity (related information is updated immediately after the change) in different list views

Add a user but don't send the invite

An active admin user may want to prepare the contents of organisation's information security management system before inviting others to join.

Now you can add users, assign tasks or documentation items to them, and only then send the actual invitation to the workspace.

This allows the new user to e.g. immediately enter the Taskbook and see a clear to-do list.

User lists on Settings-view clearly separate users between active, invited, and uninvited ones.

New, clarified dashboard

Dashboard of Cyberday was clarified and at the same time more status information was introduced.

The main emphasis on the Dashboard is still on the activated frameworks and the contents of the own management system (grouped by themes).

New information has also been added to the right column:

  • The total content of the management system
  • Latest updated reports
  • Progress of total number of events in the past 8 weeks

More settings for "embed" type reports

Embed type reports in Cyberday include e.g. privacy notices (GDPR  framework).

You can now use two new settings when editing these reports:

  • Include descriptions - Each databank can include its own, free description directly from the documentation card
  • Filter included items by their status - You can select only the databanks that have been set to "Processed" status to be included in the report
